Mismatched is a coming of age romantic drama based on the novel, When Dimple met Rishi, the series is about Rishi, a die-hard romantic, who believes in traditional ways of dating, who falls for Dimple, a gamer, and eventually wants to marry her. Mismatched follows the story of Dimple and Rishi and their group of classmates through new friendships, broken relationships and understanding their sexuality. The series was heavily filled with motion graphics and animation, as each student ideated and proposed the mobile apps they’re working on.

Our team was involved in the creative direction, ideation, design and animation of the apps, we also worked on the design and animation of the texting, calling and Instagram interfaces. We developed a visual language and style for the graphics used throughout the series.
