The Vasudhaiva Ride is inspired by the Sanskrit phrase, Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: the whole world is one family.
It is a project-driven motorcycle journey from India to Scotland: a two year series of collaborative projects working with a diverse range of organisations, educators, artists, community leaders and communities.
The Vasudhaiva Ride is an endeavour to create, share and connect the stories of these radically diverse people and projects working towards harmony and a positive transformation.
The Vasudhaiva Ride’s mission is to contribute to the global effort of communities working for peace, sustainability and wellbeing. The goal is to share stories, to reach out to the community for further collaboration and community building.
As the journey towards a positive change started on a motorcycle, our team at Startup Media created a panoptic logo. The design was an amalgamation of The Disk and The Globe, which represent the journey and the goal of the project.
Startup Media ideated, created and developed an interactive website to meet with the mission of the client. The website was built as a platform to follow the stories witnessing sustainable living and peacemaking. It initiated dialogues between communities worldwide, connecting people across geography and culture. It also helped the community to share stories and resources by exchanging inspiration and best practices for similar and intersecting causes.
We also devised promotional videos for the events that took place around the globe, sharing The Vasudhaiva Ride’s story. The idea is to remind the world that we are one family and people who truly believe in this are working together for a positive change today and a better tomorrow.
